It is curated in its design, experience, and photo aesthetic to emulate film, digitally and sustainably. If you love the idea of using film but aren’t fond of the ongoing costs and constantly developing, this is perfect for you.
How does the Paper Shoot Camera work?
Paper Shoot is a screen-free digital camera. Insert the memory card and charged batteries, choose one of four built-in color tones, and press the shutter. Photos save to the memory card for viewing later on your phone or computer. No film or app needed.
Do I need extra filter cards or accessories?
No. Your camera has four built-in color tones. Extra filter cards, lenses, and other accessories are optional.

What comes with my camera?
Every camera includes a 20MP camera board, your chosen case, a memory card that holds 5,000+ photos, and rechargeable batteries. Bundles include additional accessories. Everything you need is included—just assemble, charge, and start shooting.

Why wouldn’t I just use my phone?
Using your phone to take photos is a personal choice - if you’re happy with your phone, go for it! Our customers love Paper Shoot because it gives them the opportunity to unplug. It allows us to take a much-needed break from our screens while still having the ability to capture memories and live in the moment. The Paper Shoot is not an alternative to phones in any capacity - they are only alternatives for film and disposables.

Why wouldn’t I use a film or disposable camera?

Why wouldn’t I use a DSLR?
Whatever type of camera works for you is the best choice! There are different varieties and choices for different types of people, and there is no wrong answer. The Paper Shoot is not meant to emulate DSLRs - we are not trying to mimic the quality, experience, and technology. If you’re looking for a higher-tech camera, then go for it! There are tons of great cameras on the market that will work perfectly for you. The Paper Shoot is purposefully simplistic and minimal, digitally emulating 35mm film.

How does the Paper Shoot Camera work?
Paper Shoot Camera keeps things simple and fun. It’s a digital point-and-shoot with a film-like experience. Just pop in an SD card and 2 AAA rechargeable batteries, slide the switch to choose your filter, and press the button to snap a photo. That’s it—no screen, no fuss. Your photos save right to the SD card, and you can view or edit them later on your computer/phone. It’s designed to capture the moment without distractions—lightweight, stylish, and ready to go anywhere.

Shipping
Do you ship internationally? If so, which countries do you ship to?
Yes! To ship internationally, we partner with Global-e. Global-e is a trusted global e-commerce vendor whose solution allows Paper Shoot to provide the best possible user experience to our international customers.
Please select the country switcher dropdown to see which countries we ship to and select accordingly. Once you are in checkout, you will see local payment methods and calculations for any appropriate shipping, duties, taxes and other customs fees.
Are duties and taxes included at checkout?
Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, shipment destination, and the value of the purchase.
If duties and taxes are charged at checkout, they will appear as a separate line item. If they are already included in the product price, there will be a note at checkout clarifying. Some countries require duties and taxes to be paid upon delivery and they will be the customer’s responsibility. It will be noted at checkout for full transparency before you order.
Where can I track my order?
For U.S. orders, a shipping confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to you once your order has been packed and dispatched from our East Coast warehouse.

Where do your cameras ship from?
We are excited to announce that our new East Coast warehouse in USA is now officially operational! It will significantly reduce shipping time, ensuring that your orders within the United States will arrive within 2-4 business days after shipped out.
When will my order be shipped? And how long will it take until I receive my order?
Once your order is placed and you receive the confirmation email, we typically require 1-2 business days for processing. After packaging, your order will be delivered based on the service timeline of the carrier you have chosen at checkout.
Does Paper Shoot offer shipping on weekends?
We ship orders Monday through Friday — because even our team needs a weekend break! 😉
Orders placed between Friday and Sunday will be lovingly packed and shipped out the following Monday. If Monday happens to be a public holiday, your order will head out on the next business day.

Warranty & Battery Safety
What warranty coverage applies to my camera?
Your Paper Shoot camera comes with warranty support. Coverage and terms vary by country or region. Visit our Warranty page for details.

How do the batteries work in the camera?
Paper Shoot cameras are CE and FCC certified. The camera stops charging automatically when the batteries are full.

It is important to follow all the manufacturer’s battery safety guidelines closely, these may include but are not limited to:
- Make sure the battery compartment is clear of lint and dust before inserting the batteries and while batteries are inserted.
- If not using the camera for long periods of time, take the batteries out and store them safely.
- Make sure the positive and negative sides of the batteries are facing the correct side. There is a red light that will go off indicating if the batteries inside the camera are inserted incorrectly.
- Do not let the camera or batteries get wet. If the camera and batteries come into contact with water, open the camera, remove the batteries, and let the device and batteries dry naturally (do not use heat to dry the camera or batteries)
- Store batteries away from anything flammable and not within direct sunlight.
- Keep out of extreme heat and do not let the batteries come in contact with anything metal like keys or coins.
- If using incorrect batteries or faulty batteries that are leaking battery fluid, please remove the batteries, wipe the fluid from the battery bay, and let it dry naturally. Dispose of the batteries safely.
- If batteries begin to overheat, you notice an odor, change in shape/color, the batteries appear to be leaking, or odd noises are heard from a device discontinue use immediately.

Yes. All camera cases currently available on our website fit Paper Shoot 16MP, 18MP, and 20MP cameras. You can change the case without replacing the camera board.
