Paper Shoot’s Mission
A Camera, A Precious Memory
Our founder, George, who grew up as the eighth child in a family with limited means, had few photos of his childhood to look back on. From this personal experience, he dreamed of empowering more children are able to capture their memories.
Through our “Buy One, Donate One” initiative, each Paper Shoot camera purchase helps provide a camera to a child in a remote area, allowing them to capture and cherish their life’s moments.

Paper Shoot's Footprints of Care and Giving
2013
Paper Shoot have reached remote areas in Sichuan and Guizhou China, helping children document their lives and discover the beauty around them. Through partnerships with the Child Welfare League, we donated cameras to children in impoverished families, offering them the joy and confidence that comes from capturing their world through photography.
2014
In Taiwan’s Lanyu region, Paper Shoot organized the “Hello ART” project, teaching children to design custom camera casings and introducing them to basic photography skills.
This program not only encouraged the children’s artistic potential but also allowed them to document their world by a beautifully simple camera.
2015
Paper Shoot donated cameras and arranged photography workshops for children in Cambodia. Each camera carries with it the love and support of people worldwide, giving these children the means to explore, record, and share their unique story.
2018
In collaboration with Hong Kong’s Deaf Welfare Association, Paper Shoot supports a photography program for the hearing-impaired, using our cameras to help them share their perspectives and earn income through their work. This initiative not only fulfills their need for creative expression but also brings the hearing and hearing-impaired communities closer.
2019
Through our partnership with Kampus Diakonia Modern (KDM) in Jakarta, Paper Shoot joins the YZU Indonesian International Volunteer Team to bring sustainable educational support to underprivileged children.
Our programs span digital literacy, language arts, scientific exploration, and self-discovery, empowering young learners with tools for a brighter future.
